Ferry Plantation House, located on the Western brach of the Lynnhaven river is situated on land historically important to Princess Anne County since the mid 1600's. The current structure is circa 1830 and was rebuilt after the earlier Walke Manor House (1782) was destroyed by fire. This site was also known as Ferry Farm. A restoration effort is ongoing by Friends of the Ferry Plantation House. |
